This cake is homemade to provide unique taste.  This recipe contains 16 servings.

Step 1: Materials

1 1/4 cups cake flour
1 3/4 cups white sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups egg whites
1 teaspoon cream of tarter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Step 2: Prepare the Egg White Mixture

Beat egg whites until they form stiff peaks

Add cream of tarter, vanilla extract, and almond extract

Step 3: Prepare Dry Ingredient Mixture

Sift together flour, sugar, and salt

Repeat five times

Gently combine the egg white mixture with the dry ingredients

Step 4: Pour Mixture Into Pan

Pour the mixture into an ungreased 10 inch tube pan

Step 5: Place in Cold Oven

Once in the oven, set it to 325 degrees F

Cook for about an hour or until golden brown

Step 6: Completed Cake

Invert cake, and allow it to cool in the pan.

When throughly cooled remove from pan

I would suggest maybe less, if not none of the almond extract. Also, add 2 tablespoons of water to mix the extract(s).
Nice job - looks good!&nbsp; I get terribly impatient when separating and whipping egg whites, so am doubly impressed. <br /> <br /> One thing that would make this Instructable better is a picture of your own finished cake as the main image!&nbsp; Or did you eat it too quickly? ;)<br />
