Introduction: How to Fix a Loose Door Nob

After having a door for around twelve years, the nob became loose. So here is how to fix a door nob!

Step 1: Needed

Loose dornob
Screwdriver that fits in the screws on the nob
Paper towel
And...
You'd noggin!
( I didn't use my noggin and took the nob off with the door closed. Locked myself in. ;-) )

Step 2: Uncrew the Swrews

Unscrew the screws all the way.
Put aside.

Step 3: Remove the Nob

Before removing, make sure the door is open. Unless you don't mind being locked in the room for eternity.

Step 4: Clean Nob

Basicly wipe it down.

Step 5: Put Back

Put it back on and enjoy! Note I got out cause someone opened the door from the other side.

joshabgvghn... I didn't just tighten, I loosened and got stuck. I couldn't put the nob on without the other side falling off. ;-)

So you tightened the screws? Next it'll be how to turn the light on.

I thought this was going to be some sort of a joke when I saw the title and picture! I thought to myself "No way did someone really do a write up just to show how to tighten TWO screws?"

I can also see from the 3rd picture it was probably a pita to turn the screws. a Long screwdriver instead of a stubby one would've made the job even easier

It's pretty easy to open the door even without a knob.

Also you could have saved 4 steps by not removing the screw but instead tightening it.
