Step 4: The Basement

OK all the hard parts are over so relax. After picking up the key leave the room and go to the stairs but dont go down. Keep going to the right and go into the room with th big stone wall thing. If youve done the flashback i think you should know where to go to get to the basement. Go down the spiraling stairs and then youll be in a cave place. Go down the hall like before and then youll be in the next part of the cave. Dont go into the library because there should be a door on the wall before the library. Go inside using the key and youll see a coffin. Walk up to it and click on it and the lid will fly off and Vincent will wake up from inside (just so you know he IS NOT A VAMPIRE!). When he starts to talk to you choose to talk about sephirtoh when he asks you a question. After talking he will go back inside the coffin. Touch it again and he will come back out. Ask him his name and he will ask you a question then name him. After that he will stop coming out no matter how many times you touch the coffin. Leave the room and start walking to the ladder. Before you get there Vincent will run up to you and ask if you will find Hojo or something like that. cloud will say yes and he will agree to join the party because he wants revenge on Hojo. You never really find out why. If you go to the crystal cave later in the game there will be flashbacks but you dont really understand what happens.
