Step 1Make a folder to save the addons in!

make a folder called "my mods" or whatever you like. this folder will be used to save your addons in.

i'm not exactly sure what to do on a mac, but try to get the curse client downloader on the website. it does it for you.

cosmos brings a complete addon pack and has a patcher of it's own and the addons will never run our of date. u should also get detach mini buttons(self explanatory) and meta map, which can show u the unexplored in real time, unlike atlas. cosmos also records and uploads with minimum personal data everything from mobs' loot to AH prices to thottbot, so u can contribute yourself.
