How to hack vista parental controls as a standard user.

this is a description on how to hack the windows vista parental controls as a non administrator. if your an administrator you can control the parental controls so their is really no need for this.

Step 1 Downloading trk

the first thing you need is a re-writeable dvd because you are going to be downloading a program and burning it to a dvd. go to the url below and download the program.

I don't know if this works for vista ( Im on XP), but there are ways to use command prompt to make yourself an admin user. Im not sure what the exact command is but you can look it up on google.

To get around the fact that the non admin you want to get privalges on cant do the downloiad , get a freind to download it and put it on a memory stick , upload that onto your computer , which is almost never diabled for homeork purposes and such the like , and then run from the Burn dvd step.

Ok people.
I had this problem a bit ago and my parntal controls wouldn't even let me download something. Look around for the windows vista disc, if you find it put it into your computer and boot your computer on the disc. Instead of reinstalling your system go into repair and opn command prompt.
Type in: net user administrator /active:yes
Now rstart your computer and you will se the administrator account is also in the logon screen, logon on as the administrator and just remove parental controls for whichevr account! Hope it helps!

what if i activate the administrator, and i change everything. when i turn back to my account and run cmd and type net user administrator /active:yes, won't there be anything like you don't have these privleges?

Did you read step 6? step 6 getting rid of the administrator. now you will go into your account, pull up the start menu and you are going to open up the command processor by typing in cmd into the start search box. now you will see it on the start menu and you are going to right click it and hit run as administrator click on the administrator icon and then hit enter. now command prompt will pop up and you will type in net user administrator /active:no and then hit enter and now you have changed parental controls and no administrator.

I've tried it. And the Administrator stays on the logon screen. And after I reboot the computer the parental controls on the user account TURN BACK ON! How to resolve this?

This is good but some 'non ADMIN' accounts can't download anything without the administrator's password and its highly unlikely that the administrator will give out his or her password just to get 'hacked' later on :P haha but I like it
