Introduction: How to Make 3.14 Pi Pie!
YES! TRIPLE THE PIE GOODNESS. NUMBERS. SYMBOLS. BLUEBERRIES!
The thing about this pie is that, not only is it delicious, but it makes you feel INSTANTLY SMARTER! Why struggle with math when you could simply eat it?
So, what are you waiting for, get out your aprons and prepare your table, it's time to bake!
2 2/3 Cups All-purpose Flour
1 Tsp. Salt
1 Cup Butter (Or shortening; it's all a matter of taste)
3/4 Cup Sugar
3 Tbs. Cornstarch
1/4 Tsp. Salt
1/2 Tsp. Cinnamon
4 Cups fresh or frozen blueberries
Step 1: The Crust
Add 1 Tsp. Salt to 2 2/3 cups flour.
Cut up two stick of butter (1 cup) and add it to the flour-salt mixture.
Mix it in my crushing the pieces of butter against the sides of the bowl with a fork!
Add the water slowly, mixing it in as you go. You might need more or less, it varies batch-to-batch. Need it together with your hands until it forms a ball, then set it aside. Now, it's time to work on the filling!
In a bowl, mix 3/4 Cup White Sugar, 3 Tbs. Cornstarch, 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon, and 1/4 Tsp. Salt until completely blended with no clumps.
Ad the blueberries to the Sugar-Cornstarch mixture, being sure to mix until all the berries are coated.
Roll out and cut your dough!
If you don't have a handy mini pie maker, you could definitely use muffin tins instead! Once you put the dough in the pie dishes, fill them 2/3 of the way to the top.
Cut out the numbers! We'll be making 12 pies, so we'll need: 3.1415926535.
With a pairing knife, some time, and patience it will be easy to make all twelve, including the decimal point!
The numbers will be done before the pie, so watch out for them!
Once you have all the pies and number out of the oven and cooled, put them together and prepare for assembly!
Put together a template to base the arrangement on, so as not to get lost.
And viola- Your Pie³ is complete, enjoy! :3
