Ossi di Morte cookies: 1 Cup Cake Flour

1 1/2 Cups Sugar - 4 Egg Whites - 1/2 Cup Ground Hazelnuts - 1 Cup Ground Almonds - 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Preheat the oven to 325 F. Grease and flour two baking sheets. Beat the egg whites into stiff peaks. Sift together the flour and sugar in a large bowl. Fold in the egg whites. Fold in the almonds, hazelnuts and extract and stir until well mixed. Roll into a loaf shape about 1 inch wide. Cut the dough into 1 1/2 inch lengths. Place on the prepared baking sheets at least 1 inch apart. Bake until lightly golden, about 20 to 25 minutes until puffed up and resembling bones. Don't overcook or they'll start to brown!

I'll put an instructable up next time I cook them!

You do such a good job making your baking videos. Keep it up. My husband loves raisins so should make some of these for him. Trouble is, as with the hot cross buns, I would eat them. LOL
