Step 1: Ratio

Ingredients:

Typical proportions of sugar to cinnamon range from 3:1 to 16:1. 

1/4 cup granulated sugar to 3-4 teaspoons ground cinnamon. (4:1 to 3:1)
1/4 cup granulated sugar mixed with 2-3 teaspoon ground cinnamon. (6:1 to 4:1)
1/2 cup granulated sugar to 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon. (8:1)
1/2 cup granulated sugar to 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon. (12:1)
1/2 cup granulated sugar to 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (16:1)

Note: I find that my favorite ratio is (16:1) but included the others for you to decide.

<p>I mixed at 4:1, then added a few sliced strips of vanilla to the jar.</p>
Measurements of both would make this a lot better/more useful.<br />

You would think that reading the text and not the picture was a given :)<br>I use: <br>1 TBLS sugar to 1 TSP of cinnamon
cinnamon toast was a staple growing up :0)
