Step 2: Toasting Flour

First strain the flour to make the flour soft with no big objects then

put the flour in to the pan and toast till light brown. Do not leave it alone toasting on open fire.

Note: if the flour is very brown it wont taste good, the final product ill taste like burned bread or such..

@bowow0807 yup! it gets stuck to the roof of my mouth and i tend to freak out if i dont have liquid!
you may add butter so that it wont be too saggy.
Perhaps you can explain to those people who are unfamiliar what Goldilocks is?
Goldilocks is the name of a Filipino food establishment. It is widespread here in the Philippines. They sell Polvoron as well.
Thanks fo the ingredient it's for my school and my families thank you:):)
If I use 1/2 cup of butter, do you recommend 2/3 cup of milk or 1/2 cup of milk?
The butter is to harden it not to change too much of the taste. So i wound say 1/2 milk..
This recipe is fantastic! Made them today and they are just as good as Goldilocks ~ if not better. I'll make a bigger batch next time.

A wonderful recipe. The closest to my grandmother's Scottish shortbread I have found. Perfect for a warm climate with no oven. I agree butter is better than margarine. I just substitute the Nestle's product as I do not buy anything Nestles. Thanks so much for the recipe.

Just one more thing. I am researching making a solar oven. No electricity or gas use at all. use when the sun is out. they work for so much. The answer to so much baking.

thank you:)
you've been a big help to me.
