I'm a bit confused. When you say "cut the pumpkin up and squeezethrough a piece of cloth" I assume your talking about the meat ofthe pumpkin. In other words the same part you would make pumpkin pie outof. Also, that part won't release much juice until it has been cookeddown, similar to making pumpkin pie or squashes. Since it is a gourd.

Could you please be a little more specific on your instructions and addadditional photos detailing each of the major steps.

Thanks

I make a similar juice out of carrots, and what I do is to blend the raw carrots with water and then squeeze trough the cheesecloth. It works.

I was wondering about this too.  The pieces would have to be cooked to get them through the cheesecloth, right?  I'm assuming you bake the pumpkin like you would if making a pie (cut in half, 350 degrees for 1 hour), then juice those pieces?

What I did was buy pumpkin pie filling in a can. It's rather liquidy. Then I grabbed a large amount and put it in a clean towel over a funnel and squeezed it. Juice from it just drains through but no pumpkin does.

Thanks for this, I made some for a Harry Potter party and it was a hit.
+ Forgive me for the spoilers. When people are wrong I feel the need to correct them.

uhm i dont get what you meen by pumpkin do you meen like the outer part or the inner goop minus the seeds?
hollenback.c in reply to whscameragalOct 20, 2009. 8:42 PM
They mean the meat of the pumpkin, It's the thick rind of the pumpkin, minus the skin. Like the chunks that are left over when you are done carving a pumpkin (although I would get cooking pumpkins for this, not carving pumpkins, cooking pumpkins taste better).

mg0930mg in reply to eragonsdragon101Sep 3, 2008. 12:18 PM
Well, didn't you notice none of her other predictions were right, XD.
daemonkrog in reply to mg0930mgMar 25, 2010. 3:52 PM
Actually all of them were right.. that's the funny part. The part about the grim was just a mistake.. it was a dog not the grim.
eragonsdragon101 in reply to mg0930mgSep 22, 2008. 12:55 PM
i asked that question like 2 years ago lol i forgot everything about harrypotter
Jeraldo in reply to eragonsdragon101Jul 21, 2009. 1:19 PM
professor trelawney never says that harry is the grim,
she tells him that his given omen is the grim, not he himself.
by the way, this omen means a terrible future, one most likely ending in death.
dylanspace22 in reply to JeraldoApr 25, 2011. 6:50 PM
well doesn't everyones future end in death like.

jppoisl in reply to T3h_MuffinatorJul 20, 2007. 5:05 PM
Get a regular 15oz size can of pumpkin pie filling & mix it with a box of "spice cake"; distribute evenly in muffin tin w/liners; bake 15-20min @350; after they have cooled sprinkle w/powdered sugar. Then ENJOY tasty pumpkin goodness!

Can anyone see the cup amount for the pineapple juice? I'm getting some garbled info. I'm guessing that it's a half cup. Thanks
