How to make Sausage Gravy.

How to make Sausage Gravy.
This recipe comes from my Mother and her twin sister. Experimenting with recipes was one of those things that my Mom did. Some time ago, she came home from a week long fishing trip with her sister and prepared for us a version of sausage gravy that they had come up with. It soon became the only way that we would make it.

A few years ago we fixed this for some friends who were spending the weekend with us. We wanted to feed them a hearty breakfast that would hold us as we walked through a large flea market. When they stayed with us for the same flea market the next year, the only thing that they asked from us is that we fix them some of the delicious sausage gravy… A tradition was born.

I... Where is the black pepper? +1 for adding cheese, but -2 for no black pepper. You can't just willy-nilly your way through life. There have to be some rules. This is just anarchy.

Oh. Em. Gee. I love sausage gravy. We used to eat this growing up. Rarely, or I'd be obese enough for a reality television program of my very own. This is awesome. Thanks for sharing your family's improvement on a classic sauce. (Yeah, gravy is a sauce. It makes it sound fancier.)
