IF HAVING TROUBLE MAKING SLIME MAYBE MY EXPERIENCE WILL BE HELPFUL! I don't know much about making slime but my daughter has made it with her friends and by herself multiple times. She has always used Tide liquid laundry detergent for HE washer machines without any problems. She recently started making slime alot because she wanted to start a slime collection. She was using up so much of my Tide which we all know isn't cheap so I decided to buy her bottle of cheaper laundry detergent for slime making. Unfortunately she was unsuccessful after multiple attempts. She tried everything we could think of like using more detergent and then using less detergent but it was still a major slime fail. The detergent she used was Sun triple clean tropical breeze which is also suppose to be safe for all HE washers. I'm not sure why it wouldn't work and as I was googling whether we needed to use a specific kind of laundry detergent to make slime I stumbled across this page. I read that alot of people were having trouble making slime so i thought it might be helpful to share my experience. To me it seems like it matters what brand of laundry detergent you use to make slime.

Hi. For cheaper and better quality slime you could use regular elmers glue and contact solution. If your daughter wants to make fluffy colored slime all you would need food coloring, shaving cream and elmers glue thats all.

There is only a little bit bc I threw it away

My "slime" didn't work because somehow it went really watery ??

If it's watery put it in the freezer for 10-20 minutes

To fix really 'watery' slime just add a little bit more borax and water solution. Keep adding until it gets the right consistency.

Actually, more water does not actually help.

*It doesn't always work.

It tends to do that. You can strain it by squeezing it... Now, if it gets to dry, put it under hot or warm water.

My cat
What type of glue?
Pva or school glue
Maybe try white elmers glue

can you do a diy to make slime without glue

Yes, you can. Look up how to make it without glue on google or whatever search engine you use.

You can also add contact solution, shaving cream, and food coloring.

I'm going to try it out!

can we add some shaving craem

It not working!!!!!!

I am really scared if this does not work I been waiting my whole life

dose it work with out bora

Does it work right away or do u need to leave it out or something? Plz answer my question!?

yes it does you will start to see it forming alina3216

Most of the time it will work right away

Mine worked but it was more of a putty (same thing??? nah)

I used tide and just some blue, then played with it for a while till it turned into a putty.

i also added some water

If it doesn't work you can ad some water, that helped with me
It really does work thanks ???

Does not work! It just turned into cream!!!! What d heck?

doesn't work for my daugter ! she failed her class because of you sick!
