So nobody on the internet has anything on how to make Sokka's boomerang. People have made it but no one knows how to. So here I will show you how to make the boomerang from the cartoon not the stupid movie version.

Step 1: Basic shape

I cut out the basic shape and then I marked where the 2 holes go. The wood I was using is just 3/4 inch thick common board. I traced a
picture of his boomerang from google to get the right shape. After I drilled the holes I gave the whole thing a light sanding.
You're right the movie is stupid.
I THINK EVERYBODY AGREES THAT THE SHOW IS A MILLIARD TIMES BETTER THAN THE MOVIE.

Agreed

Boomerang always come back.

WILL YOU JOIN THE POTATOES IN THE FIGHT FOR MIDDLE EARTH OR WILL YOU COWER IN THE CORNER WITH SNUFFLES THE PENGUIN?!

Where's the template found

in the intractable. there is a picture of the boomerang on some concrete in step 1. size it up properly and print it out. this isn't rocket science. a potato can do this. are you a potato?

Does it come back

If it does then it would hit you. LIKE A BOOOSSSSSS

that looks swag.

awesome :)

I didn't really airfoil it the right way but if you did it would probably come back
Cool
Oh nice. I might try to make a actual metal one for throwing into targets
Cool
I might buy one, yeah!! They are so cool!!
You, my friend, have my thanks!
Thank you so much! I was thinking about selling these considering the fact that no one does. Let me know if you guys would buy one. :)
Does it fly? Did you make the proportions by eye balling it, or did you use a guide so it will return when flown? Or, is it just for looks?
It does fly far but it does not really come back. With a hard throw it might go about 40 feet and then turns toward the ground. It's for stuff like costumes and fans of ATLA, not particularly throwing.
