On the Sanding step, i highly recommend using a sanding block. the finish will come out smoother and you can shape the bondo easier. I hope you can come out with a completed Iron Man. Good Luck on the contest.

Thank you, I don't own any electric sanding tools so i was disappointed and it seemed bondo is Really difficult to sand. :P Thats just me I guess, but I heard somewhere to use spot putty but apparently lowes doesn't carry it. Thanks for the advice, I'll keep that in mind.

The regular bondo is somewhat hard to sand and shape. Instead of using regular Bondo, use the Profesional GOLD Bondo. That one is much easier to sand and cost only $2 more at W**-*art.

When I say "sanding block" I mean a rubber block that holds your sand paper. Cost under 5 dollars and there is nothing electric about it, pure elbow grease. Save the regular Bondo for making mud/rondo.
