Usually, these DC converters are expensive and hard to find, but computer AC Adapters cost around US$20 or less.
This Power Supply can provide 24v (+12, -12), 17v (+5, -12), 12v (+12, 0), 10v (+5, -5), 7v (+12, +5), 5v (+5, 0) and more outputs!
YOU ARE WORKING WITH AC VOLTAGE! IF YOU ARE NOT SURE OF WHAT YOU ARE DOING, DO NOT TRY THIS!
Step 1: Tools and Materials
1x Green LED
6x Terminals (or banana jacks works)
1x Heat Shrink Tubing
1x LED Resistor
Step 2: Open the PSU
2) Remove the screws on the top of the PSU and remove the cover.
3) Cut all the wires that come out and leave a few inches of wire
Step 3: Drill holes for the LEDs and switch
Step 4: Solder the wires!
2) Connect the remaining cables to the same colours of the terminals
3) Check if the 20-pin connector has a small wire connected to the +3.3V or the +5V and do the same
