How to make a Survival Knife from a chain and hand pruners

1. fix with nail
2. welding (danger!!!  caught fire on board!!!)

plans:

- grinding
- corrosion protection (acid?)
- Draining the handle (resin?)
- paracord cover

is the chain welded into a solid handle? or does it move like a chain?

definitely welded, in this example.

You could gt away with brazing or PROBABLY silver soldering.
Plumbing solder wouldn't work.


If it's still chain like, it becomes a form of kusari-fundo instead of a survival knife.
though attachment would be easier, as you could bolt through the hole that already exsists.
