A Powerade sports drink bottle is more stable as it does not have bumps in the bottom. It is a flat round bottom - and it's prettier. Also the plastic in the Powerade bottle is Much heavier than a 2 liter. Now break out the finger paints and sparkles!

Technically, this is a monopod, not a tripod, as it only has one leg, but I get the idea. Why did you wrap it in duct tape?

Rotate the first picture to upright. Generally, the first picture in an iBle should be the best, and that means right-side-up.

Almost all camera tripod mounts are 1/4"-20. That is, 1/4 inch, 20 TPI. Slightly more accurate than a bolt that will fit.

actually, . . .doesn't it have Five legs (literally points where it touches the surface, because the 2L bottle has 5 little nubs on the bottom) ? :P so it's a pentapod

im guessing tpi means "threads per inch" right?

That's actually pretty awesome! Nice job, but I don't think my camera has a screw at the bottom.. Just checked. It does. Nice job!
