How to make a WoW Private Server in 15 minutes!

Step 6 Changing your realmlist

Go to your WoW directory. There is a file called "realmlist.wtf" Open it with Notepad. Delete everything, and write "set realmlist 127.0.0.1" in it.

To start your server go to your "C:/AC Web Ultimate Repack/" Directory and run "Control Panel.exe", then click on the first three buttons (we don't need Apache, it just slows down your computer).

We're finished! you can play now on your own WoW server for FREE!

I can log in successfully, and when I double click my server it just says "You have been disconnected from the server". Please help me, I don't know what else to do.

I'm assured that this DOES NOT work for 3.3.5. I had problems with "Unable to validate game version," then once that got fixed it was stuck at connecting. Even after trying to port foward to all the of the ports above.

ok so i've done everything . i can login and then i find my server . it gets to the connect screen and just hangs

it also says for me failure to validate game version. i have wotlk 3.3.5 version 12340 and i still cant get in. any ideas?

Note: the above contains an extra 9.

(The 4.0.3 build of cataclysm is 13329 or higher. i ran into same issue, so just make that change. im still having trouble after i got [ast that road block)

I do all job finnish. But when i try to log in (admin admin) I got:

,,retrieving of realm list,, or
,,authenticating,,
Its random,and going again and again...

BUT NOTHING HAPPEND THEN. I can only click at cancel??
I trie to wait 5 minutes and noting happend...

ok i can now connect too my realm but i get the screen where it says "Connected" and it just stays there. Its not frozen or anything its just there and wont go to the next screen :( how would i fix this problem??

ok ive got a couple questions here...

First off, when i type admin for the username and admin for the password the realm list comes up and i select my realm and then i get a box that says connecting/connected. but it takes a reeeaaaaaalllllyyyyy long time to load. Is there any way too speed it up a bit?

Second, most of the time the screen will stay there on connected and/or connecting. Is there anything that i can do too fix this?

It all works up until I hit enter and select my server, it then gets to the "connected..." spot and then stops. Help please?

Try disabling any firewalls you have, or if you're behind a router, try forwarding your ports.

hi. i have windows 7 and i was playing wotlk after i reinestal my windows,i could play wotlk but today,my wotlk just stay on connecting. i changed my server and play with that server for about 1 houre but i dc and after that i wanted to connect but my wotlk stay on connecting again and dont connect to that server too. i disabled my firewall but it dosent work and i dont have antiviros what should i do? and i dont know what is router and how i should forwarding my ports. please help me.

Hey, i did everything you guys said.. i have the most recent repack,im running patch 3.3.5, i forwarded the ports, and i ran the 3 things.. But now it gets stuck at authenticating. when i look at the Arcemu-logonserver, it did some stuff and now its saying: D [Arcemu] AuthSocket: Unknown cmd 19 Could that have something to do with it? Plz reply

ok, plz help me!!! I have "MySQL","Logonserver", and "Ascent" open. My screen looks like this: What now??? I tried opening the retail wow launcher and used "root" as my username and "ascent" as my password (which I was told to do), but it denies the account. I then used my retail wow acount to look for my new relm in the relmlist and it didn't show up. Please respond quick!!!!

 ok look guy, when you open up the retail version of wow, for the username and password should both be admin. that what i got out of it. i got too frustrated and just said," screw this" and dumped all my wow private server stuff,

Try downloading and installing a newer version of AC. This should solve the problem.

I have got ever thing to work i disable all fire walls and have no internet connect.
just to remove and other port problems.
I still get the same problem After logging in it hangs on connected....
i am a ex computer repair man and have tried many other thing's
But i am stuck at this point

i have know notice that ad.exe seems to lock up on one of the map files
So im doing a brand new install to night ...Will .........

well i have installed every thing new WOW ,framework and the program used here
And this is all i can get done
1. load My sql
2. load logon server
3.Load World
4.Run WOW
wow logs in goes to reallist click on real says connected and thats it
I have tried a lost of these in the past and have never seen one that works

Well, I think you're "behind" a router. In that case, you will need to forward the ports listed here. I can't give you any specific way to do it, because the setup is different in each type of router. Port In - Port Out 6112 - 6112 3306 - 3306 3724 - 3724 8093 - 8093 8129 - 8129 6881 - 6999 8050-8050

on the router things , ports and such as firewalls, if they use panda sysercuriy systems it will pick up and fix itself. very ez fix. no more hunt and peck.  Panda will ask u one time do u want to acess and u answer yes ,Done

Just wondering about the port forwarding. I'm not entirely sure where to go to even begin entering the above info. I have a linksys router, and my PC is connected wirelessly to the hub, which I also have access to. I can let you know the exact model of the router if it's needed. I feel like a noob asking, but when it comes to networking, I am about as far from a Cisco Cert as I can be.

Acess your router trough a browser, with the router's IP. You can find it in the router's manual. If not, click Start -> Run... and type "cmd" and press Enter. Type "ipconfig" and press Enter. You should see a lot of numbers. In the 4th row, should be the IP-Address of your router. Type that number in a browser. Now you should see the login screen of your router. Username is mostly "admin" and there is no password. For specific info, search your router's manual. After you logged in, you can forward your ports (serach for Advanced settings of NAT). Hope it helped ^^.
