Step 18The boom head
A stiff carbon boom with a sloppy boom head is like a fighter jet with a propeller. So, I choose on of the best heads available today (Streamlined: http://www.streamlined.us/boom-heads.htm).
I prepared two local areas of the correct thickness (34 mm) at the boom head location. The streamlined boom head can then be easily mounted with a hex wrench.
