 by mrdice87

So, it's Christmas Eve, and you haven't even thought about what to get your girlfriend, or your wife, or whoever else. Fear not, for I have braved the craft store world to bring you an instructable about a "homemade" gift that anyone will love. This gift can scale from $10 to as high as you want it to go, so get at it!

Step 1: Get your guns!

To make anything, you need supplies... here's what you'll need for this one.

small basket $5
fabric remnants $1.50
stuffed animal $7
gift card $10 and up

*bonus - spray-on snow (it doesn't snow much here)

Now see, that wasn't hard, was it? Getting the supplies is the longest part of the process.

aw. love it. if this is what you got it your car and your girlfriend is waiting for the present you can be all,'Here(your name here). I put me heart, and soul and chump change into this." "Say what?" "Nothing"

Im guessing you could use a scarf or somthing as the fabric stuffing? That would be really cool, Great instrutable. :D

Pretty rubbish. Even the description "So, it's Christmas Eve, and you haven't even thought about what to get your girlfriend", you obviously have thought about what to get her as you have a basket, a cuddly toy and a gift card for some coffee. this isn't an instrucatable, and its obvious your not too good with wrapping as you think that its acceptable to put things into a basket at the last minute and class that as a good job. But what really gets me is that not only did you wife or partner or whatever have to suffer this tawdry, ill conceived, poor excuse for a present but you inflicted it on the rest the people that use instructables. shame on you. shame.

I agree with theRIAA, A gift card or stuffed animal? That's not exactly original. It's just a fancier way of wrapping the gift. Maybe you should call this instructable, "Cool Wrapping", because you don't exactly make a gift...MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!! AND HAPPY HANUKKA!! AND HAPPY KWANZAA! And Ramadan.

As the poster said, this is for a last-minute gift. This sure beats, 'Um, here are some lottery tickets that I picked up at the gas station on the way here because that's the only place that's open...'

if you have a handle on the basket you can get that cool clear plastic crinkly stuff with pics of santa n stuff on it, then wrap the basket in it

WOW! a STARBUCKS CARD!! what an great original idea!! now instead of going though the hassle of choosing what to do with the money, they simply have to purchase something at starbucks within a pre-determined time frame!!!

I've always wanted a deep green carpet... And that is one short-necked giraffe. Nice.
