How to make a low budget Skyrim Dovahkiin helmet (Iron helmet)

Here's how to make a low budget Iron helmet from the Elder Scrolls V...

~An entry in the Make it real challenge~

Step 1: Tools and materials:

Tools and materials:
- an old cap
-cardboard, stiff paper (or any kind of paper thick enough to be painted...so I just used a ridiculously kitsch wallpaper sample.)
-white polymer clay (x3)
-beige & brown chalk pastels
-clear nail polish
-toothpicks
-make-up brushes
-hot glue
-used newspaper
-brads
-Silver spray paint

Optional:
-plastic wrap & duct tape (to protect your desk)
- Copper spray paint
