How to make a paper gun

This is my ol' paper gun. I have been making these since the third grade, and I have had a lot of fun with paper gun wars.

This is my first non-knex gun, so a lot of regulars will like that.

Unfortunately, My paper gun does not shoot any ammo (common sense?), so thats a con...

It resembles a double-barrel pistol/revolver if you do it right, and It doesnt take a lot of materials to make.

The pic quality isnt that great, sorry for that part....

A lot of you guys have been complaining that this was in books. I did not see this in a book, someone taught it to me in the third grade.

Step 1: Materials.

The 2 materials:

• 2 sheets of paper
• masking tape (not shown)

I agree with theswordninja, a gun made of paper can shoot ammunition if made right. A lot of them just use blowgun mechanisms, but mine (instructable coming soon) uses rubber bands. A tiny one can fire up to 15 feet!

This is the first paper gun posted on ibles to my knowledge.

Also, the tape is necessary. If you dont put tape on, the handle will fall apart. Trust me, I have been building paper guns for years if you actually read the intro...

Trust me with these two things: 1: This IS NOT you gun. I have been making THIS EXACT GUN since before I knew about instructables. I learned it from another site. And even THEY probably weren't the first ones to think it up. 2: The tape is NOT necessary. I've made this gun a million times, and not once did I even contemplate the necessity of tape. If you make the gun correctly, it WILL NOT fall apart.

Ahhh... 1: Okay, so where is the due credit to "anonymous" the original creator? 2: Incorrect, sorry, If you can't keep the gun together without tape, I don't know what went wrong... I can swear to you that I've never needed tape to hold one of these together. And my apologies if I am upsetting you.
