it is very simple and easy to make a paper snowflake.

Materials Needed:
Sharp Scissors
Paper
Large Book (optional)

Step 1: Making the Base

You are going to need to start with a circular piece of paper, the size of this circle depends on how big you want your snowflake (the snowflake will end up being the same size as the circle)

Step 2: Folding

Next you are going to fold the piece of paper in half as many times as you can ( it should end up forming a thick triangle)

Step 3: Cutting

Next you are going to cut any pattern you want into the folded up piece of paper, but make sure not to cut all the way threw because that will ruin your snowflake.

Step 4: Unfold

Last you are going to carefully (if you aren't careful it might rip) unfold the triangle until it is a full circle again.

If it won't stay flat then you can put it in the middle of a dictionary and in about 30 minutes it should be flat.
