Easy to make and taste delicious.

Step 1: Mix 3 Eggs and 2/3 Cups of Sugar

Add 1/2 tsp salt, 1/3 cup butter, and 1 cup karol syrup

Step 2: Add 2 Cups Pecan Halves and Mix

Step 3: Put in Unbake Prepared Pie Shell

Bake 360º for 40-50 or until done in center.

Step 4: Let Cool and Serve.

<p>I have had some interesting variations on this recipe that added a little maple flavoring or rum flavoring for a unique enhancement that really makes a differeence. </p>
That sounds like a great idea. Adding the rum would add some great layer of flavor
<p>one Karo Syrup recipe I found suggest 2 T. of real rum. I suppose that would be much less if you used a concentrated flavor extract.</p>

<p>I should have mentioned the Karo recipe specified dark rum. We do not often have rum in the cupboard, and would probably use 1/2 to 1 t. of rum extract.</p>
<p>or just use the recipe thats on almost every bottle of Karo syrup.</p>
