How to make a pedicab trailer hitch using car steering tie rod

A steering tierod has a 360 x 60 degree range of movement and in a pedicab scenario, creates a very strong point of connection rated over 10,000 lbs of static resistance.   I couldn't find a lot of info about this so decided to share my experience of incorporating it into my pedicab trailer project.
