Step 3: Apply your Drink mix

After you are done pouring your sugar, take your drink mix packet and tear open the top.

If you tear open the bottom...
1. It will burst into a Flaming Fireball. Or,
2. You will not get all of the drink mix in the pitcher and you will have a pitcher of nastiness.

amazing i really needed help with it but umm they still sell blue rasberry whatever because i have some sitting by me right now and we bought them last night.... 2 packets or one

Aren't these instructions on the back of every koolaide packet? And what about the packets that have the sugar already pre-mixed?
Lawnmower man profile picture? O_O
the premixed packets fail i bought the orange one and tasted ok but its better when(omg sandboxmod finally downloaded)you add ur own sugar and lol i didnt think youd need instructions for kool-aid i thought it was common knowledge.
I have never seen instructations on the back and i have never bought the Pre-mixed packets.
On the back of every packet:
whos barnies mom ??????????
I make mine by the gallon, but instead of just 2 packets, I use 3. I hope that doesn't blow anyones mind, but it tastes way better.
I mix cherry and lemonade flavor and only 3/4 as much water as needed. it's AWESOME! I always find myself using more mix for all those flavored drinks. the suggested amount tastes way watered down.. and just a little more sugar so it won't be so tart. but some people like the tartness. also remember those sour candy spray bottles? you can re fill them with just plain kool aid powder, no sugar (or just a tiny bit), and water. it does clog up the sprayer.. but that's gotta happen eventually.
I kinda make a variation of that sometimes, when i make a 2 liter, i double and a half the recipe, take it to bon-fires and texas hold em' things and it blows everyone's mind.
I find that if you use 1 cup or more of hot water first, the sugar dissolves much better, making for a less gritty beverage
"1. It will burst into a Flaming Fireball." I believe it. Awesome job on this one.
