Cut off the extra.
Slide the book into the paper you just folded.
Cut off the excess that's too long for the book. (You only need 1-2 inches for it.)
Make a cut for the book spine on both sides of the book cover. The width is the same as the thickness of the book.
Fold the top and the bottom to fit the size of the book and tape them down.
Do the same on the other side, and you have quickly made a book cover for your book!
