Step 1: Gather Materials

You will need:
-enamel coated wire (you can get it from radio shack)
-a beaker or small cylinder to wrap the wire around
-razor blade
-plastic tub (we used an 18 1/2" x 10" x 3")
-packing tape
-stereo
-black/red stereo wires
-magnet (the bigger the magnet the better)

Step 2: Wrap Wire

Wrap the wire around the beaker/cylinder 20x, leaving about three inches of wire on each side as shown.

Step 3: Assemble

Take the coiled wire off the beaker making sure to keep it tight.
Then, tape the coil onto the plastic tub (resonator), covering the coil and not the wires that are hanging out.

Step 4: Scrape

Scrape the enamel off of the excess wire as shown.

Step 5: Hook Em Up.

Hook up the enamel coated wire to the wires of the stereo.

Step 6: Magnet

Place the magnet under the stereo making sure to line up the coiled wire with the magnet.
