Introduction: How to Make a Speaker for Over a Buck!
In this awesome instructable, I will show you how you can make your own Hi-Fi Speaker for under/over $1!
It has great Hi Fi sound, and it's great for any time.
The design is a bit ugly, but you'll get it!
Ok, so let's get started!
(Note: I'm sorry for not including an image of the finished product. The speaker I built failed before I could take a pic.)
Step 1: Step 1: Let's Gather the Parts.
These are the plenty of parts that we will need.
x1 Strong Circular Magnet (preferably Neodymium)
x1 GLAD Plastic Food Container
x1 Copper Penny (must be shiny clean)
x1 Saran Wrap Roll
x1 Sticky Scotch, Packing or Electrical Tape (all kinds will do.)
and finally x1 1/8th Inch aux. plug w/ stripped ends.
All this stuff I found around my house.
Okay, mate, let's go! Ah yeah!
Step 2: Step 2: Building the Speaker
Next, what you want to do is put saran over the plastic container, like so. *tip: use tape to keep saran on if needed.*
Okay, so now you take your tape and penny. Cut a small square of tape, about the size of the penny. Apply it to one side of the penny. Then you take that, then put it in the center of your speaker. Then tape it on on both sides.
Now you're 75% there! Yay! Then, take either the + (positive) or - (negative) wire from your 1/8th" cord, and put it on top of your penny. Tape it on.
Wow, you're doing great! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ Okay, so take your magnet and place it right on top of your taped penny.
Take your other + or - end of your 1/8th" cord and tape it on top of the magnet.
OMG! YOU'RE 99.9% THERE! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧(ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧★★★
Okay, let's head on to our next step.
Step 3: Step 3: Jam It Out!
Enjoy your new speaker! :3
