Let's make a warlon bear with craftrobo.
クラフトロボでワーロンベアを作りましょう。
Warlon is a plastic paper made in Nagoya,Aichi,Japan.
ワーロンは日本の愛知県名古屋市で作られているプラスチック加工された紙です。

Step 1:

Cut a development of a bear with Craft ROBO.
The development is an open-source data.
Here is the link and download the development. → http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:37321

Open the data (development) with Illustrator.
Please check if the layers are divided into two parts.

Start cutting
File＞Cutting Master for Craft ROBO＞Cut , Plot＞

Select the layering menu to choose two types of the cutting strength.
cut line: thin material
hold line: thick material

くまのペーパークラフトの展開図をクラフトロボでカットします。
展開図データはオープンソースになっています。
Makerbot Thingiverseからデータをダウンロードしてください。

展開図をillustratorで開き
カットレイヤーと折り目レイヤー２つに分かれているか確認する必要があります。
ファイル＞cutting master for craftrobo＞カット・プロット
カッティングの設定を行います。
中央タブのレイヤリングを確認し、カットレイヤーと折り目レイヤーでカットの強さを変えます。
この場合、カットレイヤーは厚い素材の設定、折り目レイヤーは薄い素材の設定です。

Step 2:

折り目の線とカットされた部分に分かれて出力されます。

Step 3:

Paste cut warlon with bond.
Matters to be attended are following.
Warlon is not paper but plastic material.
It's easy too split when it is made a line on its surface.
When the part is cut off,paste them from backside of it .

あとは木工用ボンドでのりしろ部分を張り合わせます。
注意する点は
ワーロンはプラスチック素材のため、表面に筋などを入れると、とてもさけやすいです。
パーツがちぎれてしまった場合は裏面からボンドで接着してつなぎましょう。
近年、ワーロンは日本で障子の代わりとして使われたり、竹を骨にして和風の照明器具などで使われています。
ペーパークラフトで使用されている作例は少なく、新しい挑戦を試みました。
接着することで丈夫な立体になることが分かりました。ぜひ試してみてください。
