Oh, and if you'll post a pic of your white floor I'll add it to the last step.

I decided I won't continue publishing each friday a ible, but now if i publish a ible it'll rather be friday than a other day. Oh, and i just forgot to publish this one, i had it already since a week.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Step 1: Planning

Planning is important, so you plan where the lift(s) is/are so that you know where the floor is most down, you also need to plan where you put support towers unless you don't want to have to take the floor apart several of times, like I had to did on Dystopia :D

Step 2: Make the Lifts

Now you'll need to make the lifts, don't add the entrance track as you'll have to make your own, or you could also leave the entrance track and then switch from the white floor to that track. I'd prefer first one as it is looking IMO better.

Step 3: Make the Stuff Under the Floor

Now, if you want to have anything under the floor, it is a good idea to add it.
Things under the floor could e.g. be track.
It is also a good idea to already add support towers.

Step 4: Now Make the Entrance Track

Now it's time to make the entrance!
Make sure that the floor is where the ball enters the lowest.

Step 5: Supporting the Floor Somewhat

These are just some supports for the floor.

Step 6: Some More Supporting

Make sure that the floor is just supported from underneath with Y-connectors clipped to the white rods, that way the ball can roll smooth on top of it.
Note that if the floor is steeper it will work better, but if it is not so steep it will look cooler as the ball will roll longer on it.

Step 7: Making Borders

Now you need to make borders that the ball won't roll off the sides.

Step 8: Some Extra Features

Now you can give the floor some extra features to make it more interesting!

Step 9: The End

Ok, this was this weeks 'ible! I hope you enjoyed it!

Cool this may be useful when I build my next ball machine =) How do you add the pictures like that at the end?
<p>Thank you!</p><p>You can add pictures like that by using the &quot;source&quot; button in the editor and edit the HTML like so: &lt;img src=&quot;&lt;image URL&gt;&quot; /&gt;</p>
I'm starting a new ball machine! :D I'm making the beginning of the white floor at the moment
<p>Looking nice so far, good luck with it! :D</p>
Thank you :) I've actually done quite a bit more since that previous picture:)
<p>Wow! Cool idea!</p>
<p>Haha, thanks, the idea is more-or-less a community-developed idea, though, IIRC the first machine featuring a white floor was kairahs metropolis</p>
<p>There is <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLDrWMsXFDk" rel="nofollow">this machine</a> that was posted a year before Metropolis that had a floor, and Wipe Out had floor parts on it too (though they are sort of too small to be considered a floor).</p>
<p>It says &quot;The Video is not available&quot; O.O</p>
<p>That's strange, it loads fine for me.</p>
<p>I blame germany :P</p>
<p>I guess you should move back to the US. ;-)</p>
<p>I have actually used this in my robot wars arena </p>
<p>Haha, nice idea!</p>
<p>Thanks</p>
My white floor.. :p
You can add these if you want: <br> <br>
i started with an new ballmachine with an white floor it works good
haha, cool! :D
in the last step i can give you an photo can you add it to that stap
Nice, I added it! :D <br>And what was again the name of that ball machine? :P
thanks you added it the name is runway
This instructable was really useful thanks!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
haha, thanks!
I feel this instructable is too vague. There's not ONE way you can build a floor. You just build according to what you have planned. Glad to see you wont be doing one a week anymore. It's much better to see ibles that have been worked on for a while instead of rushed. I think I_am_Canadian is a great example. <br> <br>Hope to see your new ball machine soon! :-)
thanks! <br>And weekly ible was a too big rush for me too....to much stress. <br>Well, and this ible got requested, so I thought &quot;why not?&quot;
lol you actualy did what i requested thanks man! this wil let me work at a ball machine ! not those stupid repeating guides this is really what i need!
coool i make this floor for my next ballmachine
cool!
You can add some pics of my knex ball machine Dragonfire.
Yeah, please link me the urls to the pics you want, you get it by rightclick on the image-&gt;copy image location.

Haha, cool! <br>I love ball machines xD
100th comment!!!
*yay* :D
It features also a new lift based on the parallel arm lift and... <br> <br> <br> <br>I'm not gonna tell more! ;D
Haha, cool! <br>Were the parallel arm lift instructions easy to follow?
I didn't build the lift but I designed my own with a special extra... <br> <br> <br>But what is that special extra... :D <br> <br> <br> <br>
