Introduction: How to Make an AUG PVC Marshmallow Shooter

Marshmallow shooters are one of the most fun things to build and use. This is an instructable on how to make a marshmallow shooter that looks like an AUG assault rifle. It's automatic rapid fire. Gravity fed magazine that holds up to about 9 marshmallows.

Step 1: What You Need...

Main Body:

You will need to go to a hardware store and get some PVC pipes (obviously). Get a few sticks of 1/2 inch piping and cut them (using either hacksaw or pvc cutter) into these quantities:

one 8.5* inch pipe (this will be your barrel)
two 2 inch pipes (this will be part of your scope)
four 1.5 inch pipes (these will connect your T pieces/intersection pieces)
one 4.5 inch pipe (for your handle)
one 5 inch pipe
three 3 inch pipe (part of your stock)
one 4 inch pipe (part of your stock)

*all these measurements are estimated so make adjustments if needed.
Then get some pipe connections:

six T pieces (7 recommended for a scope piece)
two 45 degree angle pieces
three couplers
one intersection piece/piece shaped like a + (this is used if you don't want to use your 7th T piece)
two slide on caps

Other things you need:
tape (any kind will work)
clear piece of thin plastic (or any thing you want to use for a scope sight)

Step 2: Your Stock + Magazine

What you will use:

four T pieces
both your 45 degree angle pieces
one slide on cap piece
two 1.5 inch pipes (one for connecting the two T pieces, the other for connecting the T and the 45 degree piece)
two 4 inch pipes (one for the magazine/clip, the other for the side of the stock)
three 3 inch pipes (for almost all the sides of the stock)
one 5.5 inch pipe
some tape

Procedure:
You can start in any way you want, but this picture pretty much shows all that you need to do. I will start at the top left corner of the stock. Your first 1.5 inch piece will connect two T pieces (one being upside down) as shown. The T piece on the left is where you will blow air through. The right T piece (upside down) will hold your magazine (make sure to don't tape the magazine). Connect that T piece with one of your 4 inch pipes and put the cap on. Then, connect the remaining hole of your upside down T piece with one of your 3 inch pieces. Connect that with a T piece (that should be the T piece at the top right of the stock in the picture). Then connect the 5.5 inch pipe to the right of the T piece. On the bottom of the T piece, add your last 1.5 inch pipe and connect it with one 45 degree angle piece (this will be your first handle). It should face left. After that, connect your second 3 inch pipe with another 45 degree angle piece. Connect the other end of that 45 degree angle piece with yet another 3 inch piece. Now we should be at the bottom left corner of the stock. Add the upside down T piece and connect the stock with the second 4 inch pipe.

Now, using the tape. You want to cover the holes of some parts of the stock to prevent the marshmallows from falling into there. I would suggest taping the top part of the 4 inch pipe and the top part of the 1.5 inch pipe that's in your first handle.

Hey, you completed step 1! Give yourself a high five, or high five a mirror if you want.

Step 3: Your Scope + Barrel/rest of the Gun

HOKAY, so onto the rest of the gun. Since it is complicated, I will divide it into two parts: the scope and the handle/barrel

The Scope

What you'll need:
one T piece
two couplings
one intersection (+ piece)
two 1.5 - 2 inch pipes
two 1.5 inch pipes
the piece of plastic (make sure it's see-through)
sharpies
tape (for preventing the air to escape; adding more pressure to the gun)
glue
scissors

Procedure:
Get any pipe (NOT THE COUPLING, T PIECE, OR INTERSECTION) and put it on the plastic. Use a sharpie to make a circle on the plastic. Cut out the circle and use different colored markers or sharpies to make a scope sight. I made just a regular cross with a red dot in the middle. Then glue this scope sight to one end of the coupling. It should fit right on top of it, then set it aside. We'll start from the bottom to the top and the other 1.5 inch pipe to the right (that will connect the scope part to the rest of the gun. Get a T piece and turn it upside down, then add a 1.5 inch pipe (tape the bottom of the pipe and insert it) onto the top. Then add the intersection piece (or the optional T piece) to that. Attach both the 1.5 - 2 inch pieces to both sides of the intersection piece. Then attach the non glued coupling to the left and the glued scopesight piece to the right. Then that's your scope. Just make sure you tilt it to the side a little like a real AUG

The Rest

What you'll need:
everything else that you have

Procedure:
Start with the T piece. We are going to make a second handle! Add the 4.5 inch pipe (tape on top) on the bottom of the T and a cap underneath that. Then add the 8.5 inch pipe to the right and finish it with the last coupling.

Congrats! Now just connect the two steps and don't forget the tape on the stock!

Step 4: Taping and the End

Ok, so what i meant by taping the top or bottom of the pipe was: getting a small piece of tape and cover the hole. Not only will this prevent the marshmallow from falling in, but it also increases the pressure so you'll need less breath to get the marshmallow out of the gun. It's hard to see in the picture but I used some clear tape and covered that hole.

A note: these steps aren't mandatory, be creative, modify my version if you must. I'll be glad to hear your versions of the shooter.

Using the gun:
For starters, to load the gun you need to put mini marshmallows into the magazine. Turn your gun upside down and put the magazine up. Then turn your gun back to its regular position and blow through the top right T piece of the stock. If you don't like this, modify the gun so you can blow elsewhere.

Note: the scope is for decoration purposes.

If I had made any errors, please tell me.
