Introduction: How to Make an Easier Altoids Ipod Case

Many intructables for Altoids cases are full of unnecessary things and statements, to make a much more easier and quicker instructable, I wont put that stuff in.

Step 1: Materials

You can use a wide array of tools. Since I didn't have any power tools at the time, I used a fatmax and a hand drill. I don't recommend using those, because it took me an hour.

A drill bit would work, a power drill, MAYBE a sharp metal skewer, but the tin is pretty strong.

And you can use styrophone or tin foil for the inside. I used foil.

Step 2: Getting Started.

Alright. Now your going to want to place your ipod in the case, so you can see where you want to put the hole mark it if you want to, take it out, and start making the hole, however way you want to make it.

NOTE- if your earbud jack is at a right angle and not straight, you will have to make a wider/taller hole like I did.

Step 3: Foil/Styrophone

If you are using foil, don't put any on top, if you close it with foil on the top, it could bend the hinges and you would have to use pliers to squeeze into place.

Step 4: Your Done!

That wasn't so hard was it?

Now here's your lollipop for being a good boy.
