Easy, simple to make, creamy, and delicious coleslaw.

Step 1: What you'll need

Liquid mix stuff:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup granulated white sugar
2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoons vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper (crushed)

The bulk:
8 cups chopped cabbage (about a head)
1/4 cup shredded carrot (about a medium carrot)

Measuring cup
Big spoon
A big bowl
A whisk (optional, easier to mix liquids with)
A smaller bowl (optional to mix liquids in)

<p>Good Instructable. There are coleslaws at our local store, but they have a bitter taste, due to their using the core of the cabbage. Home made is always better (and less expensive) even if you use mix. Thanks for the recipe, mine always comes out a little different due to me not measuring ingredients. </p>
