Introduction: How to Make Paper Helicopters

This Instructable will teach you how to make really cool paper helicopters. It will only take less than 5 minutes to make and the result is good and surprising.
Here's the final result :

Step 1: What You Will Need to Make the Helicopters

You will need -a piece of A4 paper
-5 paperclips
-scissors
-a pen
-and a ruler

Step 2: Tracing

This step is the tracing step so you'll need your pen and ruler. All the pictures are the same way up, you'll understand when you make it. Look at the pictures if you're not sure about something.

1-Trace a line every 6 cm longways (see pict.1), the last section is a bit shorter (about 5.6cm).

2-Trace a vertical line from the top edge to the middle of each column. see pict.2

3-Trace 2 rectangles in each column, 2cm wide x 8cm high, on the side opposite the line traced on step 2 (1.8cm wide x 8cm high for the small column). see pict.3.

That's all the tracing done, let's move on to the next step.

Step 3: Cutting

Now get your scissors, look at the pictures for help.

The lines with a little x and highlighted in green are the ones to cut. see picture1

Then you'll have five parts like this. see pict.2.

let's move on to folding which is the final step!!!

Step 4: The Final Step-Folding

The final step at last!!

Fold the paper along the yellow lines BUT where the yellow line splits the piece of paper into 2, fold one flap forwards and the other one backwards. see pict 1, pict.2 and pict.3(side view).
Fold the bottom flap up 1cm and paperclip it to hold it. see pict.4.

Then let it go out of a window or anywhere high up to see it spin like a helicopter.
Hope you like it.
