How to make sure you sync all your iTunes music with your iPod

You would sometimes find yourself in the following situation:

1. You recently bought music from the iTunes store or manually added tracks (say via a CD) to your iTunes library.

2. You try to sync the newly added tracks to your iPod and despite that iTunes confirms the sync, the new tracks are not there

Why is this happening and how to ensure that you add your new songs from your iTunes library on your device? The following guide addresses these questions.

Step 1: Select your device in iTunes

Plug in your iDevice to your computer and wait for it to appear in iTunes.

From the right-hand-side pane when in the main iTunes window, click on your device.

You will now be taken to the Summary tab of the device sync settings.
