Step 1: Water Marble Tutorial

Step 2: Nail polish

Step 3: Acrylic nails

Supplies: orange stick or toothpick, shot glass or cup (the smaller the circumference, the less polish you end up wasting), room temp. water, nail polish, pincet

Step 4: The trick is warm water

Fill your cup with some warm or room temperature water. If the water is too cold, the nail polish will seize up.
Choose the polishes you want to work with

Step 5: Nail polish into the warm water

let a big drop of polish fall into the water.Continue with the other colors until you have a few concentric circles of polish in the water.

Step 6: Using the toothpick or orange stick

Using the toothpick or orange stick, drag through the polish from the edge toward the middle. Continue to drag the stick through the polish until you find a design that you think looks pretty.

Step 7: Dip your fingernail into the glass,

dip your fingernail into the glass, making sure it is completely submerged.

Step 8: Use the toothpick/orange stick to trace around your fingernail

Use the toothpick/orange stick to trace around your fingernail, gathering up all the unused nail polish in the glass

Step 9: Lift your fingernail out of the glass, and let dry

Step 10: Continue with your other nails until you have a full set of beautifully water marbled nails

Slick on your favorite top coat and Voila!

wow,, i LOVE this idea
Very pretty.I love the green and orange at the end. I do it on my natural nails, so I paint my nail with a thin layer of nail polish (usually white) first, then I dip my fingernail in the cup. Then I clean my finger around the nail with a q-tip soaked with polish remover. Either way they turned out really nice :)

yeah our daughter also loved the green nails but she is to young so she have to wait ;) . How you did is works olso. I'm happy to hear that they turned out great!

They turned out great. I did mine at Christmas time so they were red, green and white.
