Step 1: Ingredients
3 cups sugar
2 cups plus 4 teaspoon oil
1 29 oz can of pumpkin
4 1/2 cups flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
3 teaspoons baking powder
3 teaspoons vanilla
2 teaspoons salt
3 teaspoons cinnamon
Step 2: Set the oven to 350 degrees.
Step 3: Grease and flour the pans
Step 4: Sift all dry ingredients in a bowl
Step 5: In a separate bowl, use the mixer to blend the liquid ingredients together. This includes the can of pumpkin.
Step 6: Take the dry ingredients and pour into the liquid ingredients. Stir enough just to moisten.
Step 7: Pour the batter into the pans.
I recommend that three 9x5 loaf pans are used so the bread bakes all the way through easily.
Step 8: *Optional: Sprinkle pumpkin seeds on the top.
Step 9: Bake in 325 degrees for an hour to an hour and ten min.
Step 10: TIme to enjoy your delicious snack!
Let cool for several hours. It can be served warm with butter and cream cheese as an afternoon snack or cold as a refreshment with your morning coffee. Enjoy!
