Step 1: Download it!

First you have to download the game. It can be found here. You may notice how fast it downloads. N is a tiny file. It's best just to put it in your desktop. Now look at your desktop, and you'll see a ZIP file called n_v1pc. Create folder and name something you'll remember, like N, and dump n_v1pc into it. Now click on the folder and extract everything. Get this right. You need to right click and hit "Extract All." Now, whenever you want to play it, you have to open that folder and n_v14 (it has a gray icon), which shows up after extraction. Now you're ready to play.

another thew tips:if your stuck in a position where you cant move for whatever reason, pressing k will instantly kill you and restart the level, if you keep losing due to time constraints, then you can turn off the timer by entering practice mode in the configure menu, this will also allow you to skip levels overly difficul

I simply can't beat that level. It seems impossible.
LoneWolf in reply to ReoTheYokelApr 27, 2010. 9:24 AM

ReoTheYokel in reply to LoneWolfApr 27, 2010. 11:25 AM
Phew... I wrote the previous comment about a year and a half ago... dunno, sorry, lol.
LoneWolf in reply to ReoTheYokelApr 27, 2010. 11:27 AM
Oh, ok. That's fine- I probably should have checked the date before I said anything.
ultrauber (author) in reply to ReoTheYokelNov 9, 2008. 9:42 AM
I think I might have done it once or twice, but you're right, it's hard.

joehadoc: Try downloading directX from microsoft. Note that I use vista, and it works. Also get the latest flashplayer and java updates. After all that, try and play again. And GarillazMiko, you should try it. It's FUN!!! Note to all that userlevels do not work on their n game, you HAVE to have userlevels.txt saved in the same folder or place as the main icon.

ultrauber (author) in reply to ent474Oct 4, 2008. 4:10 PM
Yeah, but I'd rather slide.
metanet says: Aug 5, 2008. 8:02 AM
Metanet Software here, the creators of N -- and by the way, it's just called "N", not N game or N ninja or anything else :) -- the version available online at addictinggames and elsewhere is not official. The only official version is 1.4, which can be downloaded from the website:
http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/n_downloads.html

But we're making an official swf version soon with a bunch of new goodies.

If you have questions, come and join the forums:
http://metanet.forumer.com

Thanks for playing N!
ultrauber (author) in reply to metanetAug 5, 2008. 2:58 PM
Thanks for that clarification, it was much needed. Oh, and I'll change the names to just "N."

Don't worry, he was just commenting. In case you didn't notice, he comments on pretty much every 'ible, and joins every group.
EnigmaMax in reply to cool!Apr 13, 2008. 9:24 AM
is there a site where you can play it?
fireblast_1212 in reply to EnigmaMaxJan 8, 2009. 3:26 PM
Yes. Type ngame into google and click on the link with the address of madgravityradio in it.
cool! in reply to EnigmaMaxApr 13, 2008. 10:09 AM
Yes: Here.
But the full version has more levels, is more customizable, and my favorite: userlevels. I would download it unless, say, I was not allowed to do it. So yah, you can play it online, but the downloadeable one is better.
ultrauber (author) in reply to cool!Apr 13, 2008. 7:03 PM
Actually, it's not the "full version." The download one is just newer and to accommodate it, instead of taking up server space with extra levels, they allow a download option.
cool! in reply to ultrauberApr 13, 2008. 7:17 PM
The online version of n game is on the servers of, say, www.addictinggames.com, not metanet software. The online one is actually a version specifically meant to be played online, and some of the features of the download version are taken out.
ultrauber (author) in reply to cool!Apr 13, 2008. 7:23 PM
No. The online version, which is on many servers, including addicting games and many websites, is version 1.1. The download version we have is version 1.4.1.
cool! in reply to ultrauberApr 14, 2008. 9:19 AM
Well, im sorry to bring it up, but the addicting games version is 1.2 I admit that you are right about it not being specifically an online version, but nowadays it is the only version to be found online (Not downloaded online.) Now i think it is a good idea to have both of us STOP ARGUING! I mean, what is it that makes want to find something wrong in everything that the other person says.
ultrauber (author) in reply to cool!Apr 14, 2008. 1:02 PM
Sorry, I wasn't sure if it was 1.1 or 1.2. Ok, we're done now.
cool! in reply to cool!Apr 14, 2008. 9:27 AM

ultrauber (author) in reply to joehadacFeb 29, 2008. 6:59 PM
thats too bad. try reinstalling?
joehadac in reply to ultrauberMar 1, 2008. 5:44 AM
even if i play it online in my browser it does that... it prolly has somthing to do with vista like all the other games
cool! in reply to joehadacApr 13, 2008. 8:21 AM
Maybe you dont have the latest Java/DirectX/Flash stuff.
Try downloading this.
If that doesnt work, go to the DirectX (Microsoft) and Java pages and update.
I use vista and it works fine. If all fails, email the author Here. I have done so in the past and he replied quickly.
