How to play speed (card game)

speed is a card game were each player tries to get rid of his or her cards. It is a very fast game wich you can play in a matter of minutes. It is played with a 52 card deck and no jokers.

## Step 1: Dealing

The image shows all. The best way is to deal the center cards first all 12 of them and then deal 20 to yourself and hand the rest over to the other person. It is so much easier because you only have to count the 20 cards one time(it comes out evenly). I would add image notes but it won't work for this image.(if i get help I will update it.)

My school calls this Spit because you spit the cards out in a fast motion. We also use jokers occasionally as wild card.

There is a variation of this game that I call spit.

Here is the set up for each player:

Pile

1card 2card 3card 4card 5card

This is how you play:

1. Flip over the top of the numbered piles

2. Then on the count of three you say spit and flip over the top card of the not numbered piles making a two new face up piles

3. The object of the game is the same as your game

4. You have to have five cards face up at all times unless you have less than five cards

5. If no one can do anything repeat steps 1 – 4 until you run out of cards

6. When anyone runs out of cards either player can slap the deck with lowest cards in it

7. Repeat steps 1 – 6 until there is only one pile

8. The player who slaps the “pile” with the least cards a.k.a. the table you are sitting at gets no cards other that the cards that he did not use

9. Play until the player who runs out of cards slaps the deck that has no cards in it

10. The game is over when one player has absolutely no cards in his hand

At my school, During lunch and whenever we have time, we play speed. We even have tournements! And sometimes during class we play it on our phones! [shhhh, don't tell anybody!]

at school, we used to play that everytime we had a minutes. we were playing with the multiple card rules, and with 2 pack of card. Jokers was used as "anything" (ir could have be any card) and we was dong it both way. (A-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-J-Q-K but also K-Q-J-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-A. for exemple, we could have do A-2-3-4-5-4-5-4-5-6-7-6-5-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-9-10-J-Q-J-Q-k)

For example, if a 7 was one of the middle cards, players could play either a 6 or an 8. It was there the whole time. sorry for the missunderstanding.

I used to love playing this game, and completely forgot about it. Isn't there something where the five singles that are in front of you are turned over, and if you can build on them you do so and use a new card from your 15 in the emoty spot? So if you had in your five the following: 5 8 6 1 J you could put the 5 on the 6 and put another card there? Something like that? Thanks for reminding me of the game!

Oh, and we played the you had to use one hand to move your cards around. And you had to put them on the pile one at a time. It forces you to be fast and sly so your opponent doesn't stick a 6 on your 5 when you have a 6 or 4 waiting after your 5...
