For this build you will need:
Step 1: What to Do First...
You need to take the motherboard out of the package, and for safety reasons, put the motherboard on the box. Then, take your CPU/ CPU fan and open those.
Step 2: Putting in the CPU
You will need to lift the bar in the CPU socket, and put the CPU in. Match the pins and the arrows to make sure you don't put it in wrong. (Don't force it, we wouldn't want a broken CPU)
Step 3: CPU Fan
Take the fan the CPU came with (or if you have a better one, use that) and put it on the CPU so that the cord is easy to plug in (into the CPU Fan port) and you will be able to lock it in place.
Step 4: RAM
Plug your RAM into the SIMM Slot and lock it in by pushing on the tabs. Make sure the RAM is in correctly by lining it up with the ridges and you may have to push hard.
Step 5: Putting in Your Motherboard
Line your motherboard up with the slots for your USB, Ethernet, audio, etc, and put in the screws on the case to suspend the motherboard slightly. These will make it so the electricity wont run from the motherboard to the case and possibly damage things. Next, actually screw in your motherboard. Make sure to put the shield in the back to show where to line up the motherboard.
Step 6: Graphics Card
You will have to punch out the tab to be able to put in your graphics card. Where the pci express slot is, "punch" out the tab on the back of the case so you can plug it in. Then, plug it in, and screw it down to secure it.
Step 7: Putting in Your Power Supply
You need to unbox your power supply, and line it up with the large slot on the back of your case. Screw it in, and make sure the cords are accessible for later.
Step 8: Audio
You will need to plug in the audio cable into the slot that is labeled speaker. You will need this to see if it beeps later.
Step 9: Hard Drive
Get your hard drive out, and in one of the slots that fit its screw placement...
Step 10: Secure It
Put it into the slot, and secure it with one of the fasteners. You could also screw it in if you feel more comfortable that way.
Step 11: Now We Get to Plug in All the Cords
You can take the 24 pin power supply cable and plug it into the ATX power spot. Next plug the cpu fan into USB 3.0/ PCU fan. Also with the power supply, take the four pin cord, and plug it into the 4 pin slot.
Step 12: Sata
Take the sata cord, as shown above, and plug one part into the hard drive, and the other into the sata slot. Take the sata power cord from the power supply and plug it into the hard drive.
Step 13: Wires, Wires, and Wires
You will need to take the HD Audio Cord and plug it into the F_Audio plug. Then, plug the USB cord into the USB Port. Now, the more "Fun part". Take the collection of smaller cables, labeled Reset, Power, and HDD (there should be five) and put them into the spots that are labeled the same. Reset goes to Res. Power SW goes to PW, Led's goes to the LED, and HD to the HD.
Step 14: Fans
Line up your fan so the cord can reach the fan port, and screw it in the back with the air flowing outwards so the hot air goes out. You can tell where the air is flowing by the arrows on it.
Step 15: Should Be Good
Now you should have everything necessary for your computer to work. Plug in your video, power, and click the power button. If you hear the "BEEP" and get a bios screen, you should be good. Now, you need an OS, which is for another Tutorial. Good Day!
