Introduction: How to Quickly Grow a Strong and Healthy Hair

Hello. just months ago I didn't think much about the fact that hair needs to stay healthy, too, and you can't treat it however you want. Even though hair is strong, it's also very brittle in a way, and you need to take care of it.
By following these steps, you will not only make sure that your hair stays healthy, but it will also grow faster. This is because you have ensured that it gets all the nutrients and vitamins it needs. Also, these steps will make your whole body a lot healthier.
I first started thinking about my hair health when I decided to grow dreadlocks, or as we say in Finland for some reason, "rastas", and not only did I want my hair to grow faster, but also for it to be stronger to ensure that the dreads are in as good condition as possible, from the very beginning.
I recommend everybody to read these tips, and obey them, because it WILL enhance the quality of your life in many ways. You won't be sick so often, you will be stronger, you'll probably even live noticeably longer!

Step 1: Make Sure You Eat Healthy

This is the most important step, without a doubt. Eat many kinds of foods, including fish, vegetables, meat, fruits, etc.
You should also eat daily multivitamin pills, zinc, magnesium and calsium as well. I don't think it has a direct effect, but Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids are very important for your heart and veins. You get them from greasy fish, or pills. Don't be afraid, there's nothing unhealthy about taking pills as long as you take the recommended dose. Make sure you get enough protein in your diet.
A bit of chips or chocolate every now and then won't hurt, but make sure you keep those as a special treat, and not a daily snack.

Step 2: Drink Water

This one is simple. Drink. Water. 6-8 cups of water per day is super important for you, and not a hard thing to do. Still, many people (including myself just a month or two ago) forget to drink almost any water at all. When they get thirsty, they open a can of Coke and chug it. Don't do that.

Step 3: Don't Wash Your Hair Too Often

Sure, it's important for your hygiene to shower every day, but only wash your hair with shampoo or such 2-3 times a week. That's about once every two days. This is because shampoo washes away the natural oils from your scalp, leading to greasy hair (because to compensate that, your body starts producing a lot more of those oils than it naturally should), dandruff and in many cases, more brittle hair.
Consider replacing your normal shampoo with an all-natural shampoo found in those "hippie-shops". Not only does this save nature, but almost all mainstream shampoos contain this gel-like substance, which, after you wash away the shampoo, is left in your hair. This is the way they make your hair "shiny and soft", but it's actually very unhealthy.

Oh, I almost forgot. After shower, don't just vigorously rub the towel in your hair to dry it. Either don't dry your hair at all, or gently tap the towel against your hair. If you do comb your hair, do so a maximum of two times a day, and never when your hair is wet. If you have dandruff, you should comb your scalp once a week just before showering with a comb like this in the image. It very effectively removes the dead skin, aka dandruff, from your scalp.

Step 4: Use Hair Conditioners Found in Nature

A weird-sounding, but an important method is to take a little less than one teaspoon of coconut oil, rub it in your palms so it melts, and then, not using your fingers but palms, rub it in your hair, making sure the scalp gets some too. Do this about half an hour before you go to shower, once a week or so, and I'll guarantee your hair will be healthier.
Coconut oil is very rich in nutrients, which will be sucked in your hair and scalp, and it also compensates for the "shock" your hair gets when you shampoo it, which takes the natural oils out of your hair and scalp.
Trust me, it might sound silly, but it's true.

Step 5: Avoid Stress

Try to relax as much as possible. In a stressful situation, no matter if it is about defusing a bomb before it explodes, or finishing the important project before your deadline, stressing is only gonna do one thing, and that is to negatively affect your performance.
Had a long day at the office? Strech your neck, back and legs. Not only does this increase circulation, but releases tension.
Too much stress over prolonged periods of time can actually stop your hair growth, because your body decides that it is more important to conserve all the energy possible. This is also why people who stress can be short.

Step 6: All in All, Make Sure You Live Healthy

Exercise. Socialize. Eat healthy. These are very important for your health, fitness and mood.
If, for you, the word socialize makes you struggle because you just aren't that social, obeying the other two will make you more liked, and more social. Staying fit and exercising in general rises your self-consiousness quickly, and eating healthy.. well, supports exercising.

I hope this tutorial will help you grow strong hair, and keep your body healthy. I will guarantee that, especially if you didn't have that healthy habits before, you WILL see a result in your hair condition within the first two weeks.
