Some kind of sticker or something to samdwhich in between the tape
Shaped Rubber Band Bracelets of any type
Optional: Clear tape to waterproof any stickers

Th Finished Result looks like The Ones Below I'm giving Out at BURNING MAN 2012!

Step 1: Wrap the Coin Battery W/Electrical Tape

Take a Regular 8" Long piece of electrical tape and cut it so you have two long thin pieces of tape.
Use one to do the following,

Start the tape flat on the - (negative) Side of the battery - COVERING the divide between - and + completely

Then, Start to STRETCH THE ELECTRICAL TAPE FLAT, Over the RIM Of the battery, so it should be overflowing onto both sides of the battery and making a small black circle around the whole thing (Like your using the battery as a tire and tightening the tape by rolling the tire)

You want to TIGHTLY and securely make a black rim of electrical tape all the way around

When you have gone around the whole battery 1.5 times, angle the tape to make another flat strip, intersecting the one you did to start this tape.

You should End up with your battery a little more than half covered on the flat sides as pictured.

Your Battery is now prepared to have the LED Attatched

Step 2: Attaching the LED

Try to GENTLY straighten your LED wires
the SHORT leg goes to the - Side And the long Side goes to the completely flat + Side of the battery.

THE SWITCH WORKS WHEN YOU SLIDE THE LED ARM OVER THE COVERED SIDE OF THE BATTERY- Effectively turning it off

To Start,
Place the LED So the arms are straight down,
Align it so it runs along side the seam of Black tape and battery on both sides BUT RESTS ON THE BLACK SIDE (by 1-2mm))
WHILE HOLDING THE LED IN PLACE, bend the + SIDE ARM into a little ball/spiral and press it firmly against the + Side (the actual battery)
Then grab your electrical tape (STRETCH the tape to get it to EASILY stick and stay to ITSELF in this process) the tighter the better) and tape the + arm in permanent contact with the + side.
DO NOT CUT THAT TAPE
Flip the battery over, Bend the - wire (still straight and running along the black side of the battery)  about 3mm ABOVE the end of the battery, 90 degrees, so it is pointing right at you.
-Make a tiny square of Tape, paper, or wax paper (the back side of a sticker that you remove)
And COVER a small RECTANGLE on the - Side PLACED OVER  the arm (in between the arm and the tape, so the adhesive doesn't prevent the wire from sliding) resting on the 90 Degree bend you just made (as shown the 3m square of red and white) (cover the led Arm with this paper, THEN CONTINUE TO WRAP HORIZONATLLY, LEAVING THE BOTTOM 1/6th of the batt exposed, Along with the Bent wire.

REMEMBER TO SLIDE THE WIRE TO TURN IT OFF AND ON! AND TRY NOT TO BEND IT QUICKLY OR TOO OFTEN! IT WILL MELT AND BREAK!!! ;-(

Next step is to attach your Rubber band bracelet! if you have/got one!

Step 3: Attaching Shapey Band/Stickers

The next step (if you want!)
Is to attach your light to your shapey band!

Preferably using the same un-cut peice of tape, find a curved place in the rubber band design for the battery to rest, Rest it on the corner and then pre-stretch the tape around it to attatch it right on the edge (it takes some finesse, But it you smush the tape on the band and then stretch to tighten... it slides)

Wrap it once or twice (dont mess with the switch!)

THEN
apply any stickers you want!< Or just print something out and cut it up, then wrap it to it with clear tape to waterproof it!

ALL DONE!!

See you next year on the playa!
