Hi! I'm going to tell you how to turn a normal house into a haunted house! (Sorry for the lack of pictures!)

Traced house using Freehand Selection Tool - zoomed in to closer selection
Selections>Invert
Applied Effects>Photo Effects>Black and White Film with these settings:
Filter Color:
Red 18.3
Green 65.3
Yellow 16.4
Adjustments
Brightness -17
Clarify 75
Adjust>Brightness and Contrast>Brightness/Contrast with these settings
Brightness -159
Contrast -35
Selections>Invert
Adjust>Brightness and Contrast>Highlight/Midtone/Shadow with these settings
Shadow -83
Midtone -51
Highlight -100
Relative Adjustment Method is selected
Selections>None
Using Freehand Selection Tool (Point to Point in Add Mode) I traced the windows on the second floor and attic
Effects>Dropshadow using these settings
Offset Vertical (OV) 6
Horizontal (H) -9
Opacity (O) 82
Blur (B) 62.79
Color: Red
Shadow on New Layer; Click Ok, Added a second layer of drop shadow with these settings
OV 28
H -4
O 82
B 62.79
Color Red
Shadow on New Layer; Click Ok, Added a third layer of drop shadow with these settings
OV 1
H 14
O 82
B 62.79
Color Red
Shadow on New Layer; Click Ok; Selections>Select None
I pulled each layer on top of the house layer
Added Man in Window (new layer) at 40 for transparency; pulled in between layer 2 and 3 of the drop shadow
Added children in the lower corner (separate layer)
Added spiderweb layer over house layer and reduced to 46 for transparency

That's how you do it! Sorry if its a bit confusing!
