How to Use a Quick Release/metal Shackle

In this instructable I will show you how to use a quick release.

Step 1: Materials

-metal shackle
-string/rope depending on how much weight you have on it.
-chain
-scissors 

Step 2: Shackle

Tie the string/rope around the thing you want to drop. Then take the pin out of the shackle. Put the string, tied to whatever you are using, and the chain in the shackle. Now put the pin on but be sure not to screw it in.

Step 3:

Tie the string onto the pin of the shackle. Make sure that the chain is on the pin and the string/rope is attached to the shackle. 

Step 4:

Now get a distance away from your rig while still holding the string and tug! The pin should fall out of the shackle and drop the tape roll (in my case) on to the ground!
