Introduction: How to Use Tracing Paper With Your Pattern

Times to learn some basics: Using tracing paper to mark your pattern.

What you'll need:

- Fabric
- Pattern
- Transfer paper/tracing paper (it has multiple names)
- Tracing wheel

1. Secure your pattern to your fabric. (Check out my other instructable https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-pin-your-fabric-on-a-styrofoam-sewing-squar/)

2. Choose a tracing paper that is a distinctly different color than your fabric, otherwise your won't be able to see your work! Place it colored side down against your fabric and under the pattern.

3. Carefully use your tracing wheel to mark along the pattern. If you make a mistake, the tracing paper can be wiped off. I recommend using a ruler if you're doing straight lines (I.e. darts, seams, etc.)
