Ever wanted to talk with someone on the other side of the world, but can't be bothered to phone them? well now you can talk to each other on Microsoft Office Groove.

Step 1: Create a Contact

Make sure the person you want to talk to has a groove account. go into the contacts tab and click add contacts. search for the persons name, click it and click add

Step 2: Create a Workspace

go into the workspaces tab and click new workspace. name it and click ok

Step 3: Invite Your Contact to Your Workspace

in the invite bar type in the name of your contact and send it. wait for them to accept

Step 4: Open the Chat

When you open that workspace, look on the right hand side and click the left button on the chat tab.

Step 5: Now Talk

to talk click the microphone button and speak into the microphone

If you just want internet voice chat, <a rel="nofollow" href="http://skype.com">Skype</a> is cheaper (100% cheaper, in fact) and much more well known. Not having a copy of Groove I can't do a feature comparison, but you can easily download Skype, and that might make your Instructable fuller and more useful. Why do I need Groove when I have Skype- what does it do that Skype doesn't?<br/><br/><sub>No, I do not work for Skype, despite using the word five times in that paragraph</sub><br/>
On Skype you can't collaborate on files and stuff (I will make an Instructable about this later)
