Many of my comrades have asked me if i could teach them how to write an essay the 122 way. well here it is. It Is fairly simple if you use a little something my teacher likes to call raft. Raftv is kind of like a guide line for you to use during an essay for you to get the full score. At 122( a school i go to), Raftv is the way to go., which is why it is called the 122 way.

Step 1: R in Raftv

The R in raft stands for restate. This obviously means that you restate question. in the essay shown bellow, note it is not mine, the question is very simple. Why do you like the Jonas brothers- not my idea. You restate the idea in the introduction.

Step 2: A for Answer

The a in raft stands for answer. Simply answer the question. For example in the essay about the Jonas brothers, the disclosed author says that he/she likes them because there music is good and that they're role models . they answered the question.

Step 3: F for For Example

For example means include 2 details. This comes in the 3 main body paragraphs that we should all have, unless your teacher tells you not to have 5-either more or less. In the body paragraphs, we must restate the answer that we gave and the reasons for it. Then include 2 details. In the Jonas Brothers essay, the reasons for her answer where that they had good songs ad they where role models. They address these reasons here.

Step 4: T for Tie Up.

In the tie-ing up section, you basically add a conclusion by restating everything you said in the intro and 1 major detail from each reason. The author of this essay(not me) didn't do a good job. She or he did not support her facts.

Step 5: V in Voice

Voice is just your opinion, and in a big essay, such as the English Language Arts exam, no voice can bring you down to a 3/4. Voice is very simple let me show you.

Step 6: Final.
