How to write kids poems. by duck-lemon

I think joy comes from listening, reading and seeing joy in others
and i very nice way to show this is poems.

Poems come in many different styles some not-so happy
and some over-happy and contrary to popular belief they don't have to rhyme.

poems are not just for adults and not just for kids but today we are learning kids
poems that are easy and fun to make.

Thanks to coseausername for giving me inspiration to write this!

Good to hear about this. I also love poetry and finding blogs or articles about it makes me smile. :) I've been studying haiku poems and its also good for kids. I am also liking basho haiku poems.

Ok, I try !

house mouse spouse :
There once was a mouse who wanted to build a home for his spouse.
I wonder how long it would take, because they still live in my house.

cat fat flat bat rat hat :
There was once a black fat cat with a cute pocket rat named Pat who was in love with a flat fruit-bat who lived in a dark hat.
After a long chat, the flat fruit-bat in the dark hat told to the black fat cat with the cute pocket rat named Pat this unexpected fact :
"Dear black fat cat with a cute pocket rat named Pat, I'm afraid you're too fat to enter in my dark hat ... However, your so cute pocket rat named Pat has the perfect size if you think about that ..."
Angry, the black fat cat ate both the bat and the rat ...
He is now known as the black fat cat with a dark hat who ate a cute pocket rat named Pat and the flat fruit-bat who lived in his dark hat.

Hey ! Despite it's called "kids poems", I find it's not so easy to write them ...
Hopefully, I've found this useful tool to help me to find some rhymes : http://www.rhymezone.com

Have you tried to write poems in [http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-write-Alexandrines-.../ Alexandrines] ?
