Introduction: How to Download Videos and Download (or Move) Them to Your Ipod, Psp, or Any Other Mpeg4 Compatible Device

I've almost always found myself (when watching a video) trying to find a way to download videos. Well I've found a way and I feel like I should share it with the rest of the Instructables community so PUMPKIN$ presents a way to download videos from:

Youtube.com NOTE: This only downloads in MP4 FORMAT.

Step 1: Getting Firefox If You Do Not Already Have It

If you have Firefox ignore the following and skip to step 2

Ok so if you are going to do this you will need to install Firefox: here

When you are done with that, on to step 2

Step 2: Launching Firefox, Adding the Tool

So what you're gonna do is start up Firefox, and copy this (Or drag it somehow)into a bookmark.

(Highlight this and copy it to the little "Paste" sign pictured below.)

Step 3: Go to a Video and Test It Out

If you go to the Youtube.com page (by clicking the bookmark) all you need do is select download options.

Step 4: Notes/ DISCLAMER!

I'm not responsible for any trouble you could POSSIBLY get into when using this (i.e re-uploading as your own, downloading the video in mp3 format and selling the track/ claiming as your own.)

Step 5: HELPFUL ADDONS

The following is a list of helpful addons:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7684 < a cool digital radio device that plays music from your toolbar (I'm using it right now) , if you're a fan of alternative, Classic Rock, Punk, Pop, or you like to try new things you could use my station by doing the following: going to the symbol that looks like o))) on your toolbar clicking it and selecting start/Create a Station selecting the Username option and copying and pasting GodwhackerSteel into it. (this is my last fm profile if you have one of your own you could use it)

another helpful device that is generally self explanatory is the capture fox add on:

Please know now (unlike I did) that the framerate can be a little laggy sometimes

Finally: Adblock Plus. This will stop redirects, and get rid of those annoying banners EVEN FLASH. Set up is easy. Just install, restart the browser, and select a list based on your region. And you're golden! https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865
